About

Why Mostly Advisory?

Mostly Advisory is a wellness advisory.

Wellness is related to health, but there are some slight differences worth keeping in mind. Let’s use the automobile as an example to explain those differences.

Let’s say you own a car that you drive for routine day-to-day activities. You take the kids to school in this car, commute to work in this car, etc.

The car is generally reliable, but like any piece of machinery it requires maintenance, and sometimes problems arise that require repair. When problems arise, it makes sense to visit the mechanic; the mechanic’s job is to solve problems with your car.

However, sometimes you may want to change something car-related that is not necessarily a “problem.” For instance, you might want to learn to drive your car in different types of terrain so that you can take your family on a cross-country vacation.

As a car owner, who do you turn to in these situations? Unfortunately, there is no obvious answer.

This dilemma is similar to what people often experience with their own body and mind.

In other words, it makes perfect sense to visit the doctor who can diagnose and treat problems related to their health. However, throughout our lives, plenty of situations arise that exist outside the realm of illness and disease.

This is where wellness advisors enter the picture; wellness advisors do not diagnose and treat illness, but work hand-in-hand with clients to improve and optimize their overall well-being.

For some people, optimizing their well-being involves developing a sustainable exercise routine; for others, it might involve rethinking their relationship with food; for others, it might involve finally establishing better ground rules for their interpersonal relationships.

Mostly Advisory was founded to offer readers and clients comprehensive insights that they can use to address their wellness concerns, and this principle will remain the primary focus of all of my efforts going forward.

Who Are We?

Mostly Advisory was founded in 2026 by myself, Sean Robert Huff.

I am from Ann Arbor, Michigan, in the United States of America. There, I completed all of my university and graduate education, including medical school.

In my private life, I enjoy studying languages, travel, and photography.

I have been working in the medical education and medical technology industries since 2017 (LinkedIn profile). I decided against a traditional career in medicine for the following reasons:

  1. The amount of time and energy spent on administrative tasks instead of meaningful interaction with patients

  2. Long-standing, systemic problems related to health insurance and public health education

  3. A medical training system that requires medical trainees live out an unhealthy, unsustainable lifestyle

Nevertheless, I still feel that there is much work to be done in informing and empowering the general public regarding common to health and wellness challenges.

As the principal blog author and wellness advisor at Mostly Advisory, I devote significant time and attention to understanding each client’s particular circumstances.

This commitment to offering unique, tailor-made solutions allows me to provide impactful insights that would be difficult to find from more traditional sources of information.

I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your journey to better health and wellness.
